Established in 1931 by Clif Calvin and Joe Traylor, our company has grown to a full service insurance agency.

Currently, CEK Insurance serves the insurance needs of about 8,000 individuals and families, and the insurance needs of 3,000 business concerns in NE Kansas and NW Missouri.

Our office includes state-of-the-art computerization and rating systems for record keeping and cost comparisons of the country's finest insurance companies.

	Joe Baker is a shareholder of CEK Insurance. He has been in the insurance industry since 1968. Joe is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and a Registered Representative for Symetra Investment Services Inc. He is a sales agent for commercial, personal, life and health insurance. When Joe has free time, he enjoys golfing, boating, traveling and spending time with his family.
	Al Hack is a shareholder of CEK Insurance. Al has been in the financial services and insurance industries since 1979 and is an Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI). He is a sales agent for commercial, personal, life and health insurance. He spends his free time landscaping, boating, gardening and taking long walks with his wife Sue and their two Labrador Retrievers.
	Tracy Cullers is a shareholder in CEK Insurance and has been in the insurance industry since 1985. She handles group employee benefits including: health, dental, short term, long term disability and retirement programs. Tracy also handles individual medical products and life insurance.  Tracy is a Registered Health Underwriter (RHU).  When not working, she enjoys boating and spending time with her three dogs.
	Tom Karasek is a shareholder of CEK Insurance. He started his career at CEK in 2000. Tom is a sales agent who handles personal and commercial insurance. He is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC). He enjoys golfing, swimming, jogging and spending time with his wife and two children.
	Susan Adams is the Comptroller. She has been with CEK since 1999 owning her own business for 15 years prior to that. Susan is active in her church and enjoys crafts and spending time with her grandchildren. She also serves on the board of The O’Connell Youth Ranch.
	Frank Alexander is a sales agent for commercial, personal, life and health insurance. He has been working in the insurance industry since 1961. Frank is a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC). He enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting and square dancing with his wife Betty.
	Shelby Bean is a personal lines Customer Service Representative (CSR). She has been working in the insurance industry since 1957 and has been with CEK Insurance since 1989. Shelby is a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) and an Associate in Underwriting (AU). She services personal lines accounts and handles personal lines claims. Shelby is working to complete her college degree at The University of Kansas. She also enjoys traveling and spending time with her grandson.
	Clint Bradley is a sales agent for personal, commercial, life and health insurance. Clint began his carreer at CEK insurance in 1996. He worked as Vice President of Business Development at Central National Bank for five years and is happy to be back in the insurance profession again with CEK. Clint enjoys spending time with his three boys, daughter and wife and also enjoys playing golf.
	Quentin Brinkworth is a sales agent for commercial, personal, life and health insurance. Quentin is Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and an Associated Risk Manager (ARM). He specializes in solving insurance and risk exposures for his many commercial clients. He has developed a generalized book of long term clientele with an emphasis on construction, retail and transportation. In his free time Quentin enjoys working out, reading and Kuk Sool Won.
	Gay Hadl is our receptionist. She has been with CEK Insurance since 2002. She enjoys traveling with her husband and also likes gardening, sports and spending time with her animals.
	Debbie Haley is a commercial lines Customer Service Representative (CSR). She has been working in the insurance industry since 1995. Debbie services commercial accounts for Joe Baker and Al Hack. Debbie enjoys gardening and keeping up with her twin daughters.
	Fran Hopkins has been working in the insurance industry since 1982. She is a sales agent for personal, commercial, life and health insurance. Fran has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA). She is also a certified aerobics instructor. In her spare time, Fran enjoys participating in the Lawrence Community Theater.
	Marcy Lang is an assistant Customer Service Representative (CSR). She started with CEK Insurance in 1999. She assists both the personal lines and commercial lines customer service representatives with their daily work. She also helps in the servicing of the commercial accounts. She is an in house computer specialist and is often asked to complete special projects. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and friends.
	Kelly Larmer is the commercial lines marketing executive for the agency. She markets new line accounts for both office locations. She began her insurance career in 1997 and has earned her AAI designation. In her spare time, Kelly enjoys spending time with her two children, family and friends.
	Dana Laudick has been a licensed CSR since 1972 working primarily for independent insurance agencies. She primarily works on commercial lines and workers compensation claims. She has two grown sons and enjoys gardening and boating.
	Bonnye Little is a commercial lines Customer Service Representative (CSR). She is a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR). Bonnye started in the insurance industry in 1991. She started with CEK Insurance in 1996. She services the commercial accounts of Jim Fender and Clint Bradley as well as Frank Alexander. Bonnye is also the in house computer specialist.
	Amanda Lutz - Amanda started her career with CEK in August 2008 as a Personal Lines Customer Service Representative.  Amanda graduated from the University of Kansas in 2002 with a degree in Communication Studies.  In her free time, Amanda enjoys relaxing at home with family and friends, eating her husband's delicious cooking, and playing with her son and her English bulldog.
	Ann Stoll is a personal lines Customer Service Representative (CSR). Ann started in the insurance industry and with CEK in 1997. She processes personal lines new business and handles customer payments. Ann enjoys being with her family, watching her son coach Lawrence High Baseball, collecting Noah’s Arks and reading. She especially enjoys the company of her grandchildren.
	Connie Warmker is a commercial lines Customer Service Representative (CSR). She has been working in the insurance industry since 1974 has been with CEK Insurance since 1982. She is a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR). She services the commercial accounts of Joe Baker and Al Hack. Her hobbies and interests include church, crafts, sewing and spending time with her family including her 3 grandchildren and great grandchild.
	Marty Yost joined CEK in 2009 as the Operations Manager for the agency.  Marty began his career in the insurance industry in 2004.  He holds a bachelors degree from Kansas State University in Business Finance.  When not working, Marty enjoys spending time with his family, working on his lawn, gardening, spending time in the outdoors and watching his daughters sporting events.  Marty is also active in his church on the Membership Committee.
	Denis Strobel started his career in Insurance in 1972. He came to CEK in 2009. His sales focus as an account executive is in personal and commercial lines. In his personal time, Denis enjoys jogging, golf, reading and traveling with his wife Chris.
